Abstract: | The all optical mode locking of Fabry-Perot laser diodes is based on the mutual injection locking of two longitudinal modes and successive injection locking of adjacent longitudinal modes. In this paper, firstly, a simple method to measure the free spectral range of a SELFOC lens as the extemal cavity is developed. Secondly, the dependence of the operation characteristics on the polarization of the cw injected light is examined experimentally. |
