Size Effect on Expression for Stress-Strain Curves of Concrete Prisms under Uniaxial Compressive Load

Abstract: This study examined the probability distribution and size effect of compressive strength and the inelastic stress-strain curves of concrete prisms up to a large compressive strain. Compressive strength and the inelastic stress-strain behaviors are examined in terms of the size of specimen. Tese specimens are examined by using a stiff compressive testing machine. The purpose of this study is to propose the probability distributions of concrete strength and mathematical expressions of the inelastic stress-strain curves of concrete prisms.
