| 抄録: | On September 14,1984,the west area of Nagano prefecture was affected by the earthquake which was of M 6.9 in magnitude. 21 casualties were suffered and, 427 houses were destroyed and damaged. The seminar house, 'YAMANO-IE' owned by AICHI Institute of Technology, on the mountainside of the Ontake, which is 2.5km away from the seismic center, was a also damaged. In this paper, the outline of the damages by this earthquake is reported and, the problem of the structure design is discussed on the base of the investigation of the damaged 'YAMANO-IE'. |
