近世浄土宗本堂の研究(その X) : 通順寺, 即願寺, 法信寺, 妙用寺, 聯芳寺本堂

Abstract

Main halls especially the middle size main halls, of Jyodo Shin sect became all at once gorgeous which were very primitive in their original forms in the late of Edo period. But if we find their original forms by inquiring into traces of remodelings, we can recognize both their primitive original forms and altered advanced forms. In this tasis 1 give 5 examples of such kind that exsist intensively in the western part of Owari district to show abovementioned fact.
