Abstract

The economic development in Japan has recently drawn attention from the world. Contributing factors to its development are tend to be studied by foreign countries. Among them, one factor is considered to be the success in adopting and digesting of scientific management developed by Towne and Taylor. Thus, the current implementation of the scientific management should be carefully examined and its historical development from its origin should be studied as well. For further advancement of successfull management, the origin, creational process, and development of the scientific management were reviewed referring to the works done by Towne and Taylor and reported as Part one.
