| 抄録: | V2 (Verb-Second) is considered to be typical for German Languages. Even though English belongs to the German family, Present-day English does not show V2 anymore. However, Old/Early Middle English used to show V2. Therefore, many scholars tried to explain why English lost V2. In this study, we propose the different approach from the consideration of the change in the information structure. |
