| Abstract: | This paper is developed from the preceding two papers and will try to explore the theory which unifies the explanation for I'-Restriction and the Case-Adjacency Effect. During this process, we think that the recent idea of the "pay the tax" which is developed in Richards (1997/2001) and Pesetsky (2000) is very insightful. Then, we try to explain the adverbial behavior by using of the "pay the tax" theory. If it is maintained, we can apply to other languages. |
