Abstract

Over the years, the author and his colleagues have found that authentic materials stimulate a student's interest in the study of English. However, collecting and maintaining a multiple-copy collection of various authentic materials is quite difficult aid time consuming. All of the author's students have some level of access to the Internet so he has created online lessons that introduce the ESL student to the vast English language Internet using the Internet as a source of authentic materials.
