Abstract: The Mandelbrot set of the quadratic polynomial pc(z)=z^2+c is the set of those values c such that the iteration sequence {p^n_c(0)}of the finite critical point 0 of pc(z)is bounded Similarly ,we can define the Mandelbrot set of the cubic polynomial qc(z)=cz(3-z^2)+1 with two finite critical points 1 and -1. And investingating this Mandelbrot set,we can obtain some examples of Julia sets which are disconnected,but need not be totally disconnected.
