| Abstract: | The aim of the present study is to investigate the influence of the European ideas of Nature on the British theories of the sublime in the 18th century. We can find the representative Western ideas of Nature in Wordsworth's "Tintern Abbey" which descibes the sublime experience in Nature, and is one of the best expression of the sublime in the century. |
