Abstract: A huge amount of carbon dioxide has been discharged into the atmosheric environment from our daily life and various industrial facilities. In 1994, about l.26 billion tons of carbon dioxide were emitted into air in japan. Consequently. the concentration of carbon dioxide in air has increased to about 380-400 ppm. Various global disasters due to the greenhouse effect of carbon dioxide have been feared. In this research, a removing process of carbon dioxide from exhaust of fuel combustion was investigated kinematically using aqueous solution of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol(AMP). The kinetic parameters such as the reaction rate constant and the activation energy for the process were evaluated.
