Abstract

This paper deals with the old, and new theme, that is, how we, the human beings live in our modern society. We faced the Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster in 2011, 3,11. Our modern situation after the disaster is similar to what the oldest human beings faced. We can get our guiding principles to live in our modern society from the research of the history of the human beings' conquest of their environments . The human beings conquered the difficult environmental situation by the human minds' creative works. NHK’s TV program, “Human” researched the growth of the human beings' minds from the oldest years of the human beings in the history of the conquest of the difficult environmental situations. Reading the book about the program, we tried to learn how the human beings conquered the difficult environmental changes by their minds’ creative works.
