Abstract

This paper demonstrates and explains how I use the data from the Tatoeba Project for some of my web projects. The Tatoeba Project maintains a large multi-lingual database of example sentences. An explanation of how data is selected and a description of the various projects are included. Ensuring the accuracy of English examples is a critical job that I do personally. For further details on methodology, see Section 3 below. By selecting and correcting data from the Tatoeba Project I have developed several web-based language learning tools with the highest possible degree of accuracy in example sentences.
