Abstract: A distance measurement using self-coupling effect of laser diode has been studied. In the study, a photo diode is used to detect the self-coupling effect. Recently, the terminal voltage fluctuation in laser diode by self-coupling effect is detected. If the photo diode is not used to detect the self-coupling effect, more laser diodes can be densely integrated in array on semiconductor substrate. So we try to measure a distance using terminal voltage fluctuation in laser diode by self coupling effect.
