| 抄録: | We can not find many stories described about deaf people. But I found only a few hearing authors used deaf characters in the 19th and 20th century. This paper shows the description about the deaf in both McCullers's and Welty's works. The two writers made use of the deaf-mute characters as the mirrors reflecting the readers' inside. |
