教員志望学生の教職および教員イメージに関する心理学的研究

Abstract

University students who want to become a teacher were asked to evaluate the image of the teaching profession and the impression of teachers in their high school days. As results of factor analysis about the rating scores, three main factors were derived. These were named emotion, humanity, and flexibility, respectively. Factor of emotion included two sub-factors named activity and personality. And factor of humanity included also two sub-factors named maturation and sincerity. The rating scores of almost all items about the teaching profession in the students who participate in the course of teaching practice showed to be higher than those in the students who do not participate in it. From these results, we recognized that the students who participate in the course of teaching practice have great longing for becoming a teacher.
