男子中学生の体育に対する興味についての一考察

Abstract

This is a study on the actual conditions with respect to the differences of personal conditions and environmental factors between the pupils who like physical education and the ones who dislike it. The subjects are 224 boys of junior high school which is attached to the Aichi Institute of Technology and their interests to physical education were measured by a paper-and-pencil questionnaire. The data were analyzed by T test for differences between means and by X^2 test for ratios. The results are as follows ; a) Although no differences were found in physical forms such as heights and weights of their bodies, great differences were observed in fundamental motor abilities such as running, throwing and jumping, and motor aptitudes. b) Number of agonies about bodies and motor abilities of the boys themselves, and the histories of cases were found to be significantly related to their likes and dislikes to physical education. c) In addition, considerable differences were found in personality traits. Despite of their intelligence showed less important in regard to their interests to physical education, difference in V.Q. was found significant. d) As environmental factors, interests to physical education of their parents were found unable to be ignored, but there were no significant differences in attitudes to sports and teachers of physical education among their parents.
