A study about a change of a feeling of university adjustment

Abstract: In this study, it was discussed that the change of decreased motivation and feeling of university adjustment, and the factors that bring about change. Of those surveyed offerings as being principles of education in the first semester and educational psychology in the second semester for the first grade education course who take. 53 undergraduate (40 were freshman, 13 were upperclassman) surveyed all. The survey was conducted 4 times (April, July, September and January). As a result, it was cleared that between a change in the first semester and in the second semester were different factors existed for freshman. In first semester, "self-expression skills" was university adjustment for freshman influence. In contrast, "inviting sense" was them strong influence in the second semester. It was showed that initial state of adaptation in the first semester was university adjustment in the second semester affect. Therefore, it was suggested that after initial adaptation of university entrance support was required to adapt smoothly into university for freshman.
