卓球競技レベルによるラリー中の視線の違い

Abstract

In this study, differences in line of sight of table tennis players during rallies were characterized by slow motion analysis using two ultra-high-speed video cameras. Furthermore, a modified procedure was also performed by reducing field of vision with special goggles. Forehand strokes were used for rallying. The main results were as follows: 1. Players with higher performance levels moved their line-of-sight away from the ball at an earlier time. Also, when their racket struck the ball, their line of sight was directed to the pponent’s’ court. 2. Conversely, players with lower performance levels moved their line of sight away from the ball at a later time and their line of sight was not directed to the opponent’s court when the racket struck the ball. 3. With reduced filed of vision by goggles, layers with higher performance levels were able to continue rallies, but those with lower performance levels were unable to do so. 4. Players with higher performance levels were able to produce accurate strokes, solely depending on information from the ball being returned by the opponents (spin, course, speed) gained before the ball bounced.
