Abstract: The porous concrete (POC), which is environmentally friendly concrete, using electric arc furnace oxidizing slag (EFS) aggregate was made in this paper. EFS aggregate was established as JIS A 5011-4 [Slag aggregate for concrete-Part 4: Electric arc furnace oxidizing slag aggregate], and recommendations for design and construction of concrete structures using EFS aggregate was also published by Japan Society of Civil Engineers in 2003. EFS concrete was compared with porous concrete using the natural sandstone crushed stone. The designed void ratios and continuous void ratios of POC were similarity most, and continuous void ratios were adjusted at 20, 25 and 30%. POC using EFS aggregate showed void ratios and coefficients of water permeability which were sufficient as well as POC using sandstone crushed stone. There was no difference on compressive strength and flexural strength of POC between RFS aggregate and sandstone crushed stone
