抄録: | Since 1997 strong motion seismometers have been installed at the eight sites in the Nobi Plain for observing strong motions of soil surface during earthquakes. By using this network time history of surface motions at six sites including the rock-site (AIT) during the earthquake occurred October 31 of 2001 at the southern area of Mie prefecture of magnitude M5.7were observed. The observed records at the five sites were compared with the motions simulated by using two- dimensional FEM analysis. The record observed at the AIT site was used as the incident motions from rock base to sediment. Close agreement of time history and Fourier spectrum between observed and simulated motions was obtained in the frequency range from 0.1 to 1 Hz. This means that soil model used in this study is correct and the records obtained at AIT site can be used as incident motions on rock-base. |
