Abstract: Many microrobots with various types of sensors and actuators have been developed. We propose three-dimensional position measurement of a microrobot using position sensitive detectors (PSDs), since its dimension is suitable for the microrobot. We install the PSDs on the microrobot actuated by piezoelectric elements and electromagnets, and we measure the linear and rotational displacement of the microrobot.
