| 抄録: | This paper states about a method to evaluate image symmetry by applying 3rd order moment which is used mainly to discuss probability distribution. The 3rd order moment shows a useful properties of shift and rotation invariant. And this value becomes to zero in case that the analyzed figure is a regular polygon. So, this measure is applicable in pattern recognition to distinguish regular polygon from others. |
