抄録: To realize the virtual reality system needs high speed computer graphic processing technology. In a virtual reality system, graphic computers have to compute twenty four hundred million polygons per second to show television like animation. It is impossible for a present computer system. This paper proposes a improvement method for a three-dimensional computer graphic processing speed by separates two conditions of clear and unclear region of sight. In unclear region we have poor eye-sight. That is able to make reduce polygon data. 抄録: Centrifuge model tests were performed in this study in order to investigate how three-dimensional sliding failures take place in high earthfills with long slopes. The spherical sliding planes were meseaured by using noodle-type reference strings embedded in the model, and the length, the width and the depth of the sliding bodies were compared by varing the width of valley in which earthfills are constructed. 抄録: A suspension type energy absorber system was proposed in this paper for use in the design of highway bridge structures, in order to prevent catastrophic failures as had been seen in the Hyogoken-Nanbu Earthquake. The eigen frequency of the proposed system was first examined through theoretically determined closed form solutions. Dynamic response analyses were then carried out by use of one-dimensional mass-spring systems for a few different types of bridge structure, including currently used conventional laminated rubber type absorber to be compared. It was concluded that the proposed absorber system can be one of practically useful measures to dissipate excessive energy accumulated in the structure during earthquake, though several points are still remained to be solved in the actual design.1996-03-30T15:00:00Z
