抄録: Adoptions of forced excitation, switched series condenser and damping resistor are, as well known, very effective to improve the transient stability of power systems. Some experiments, in respect of the compensative effects of forced excitation and switched series condenser against the step out caused by faults, were executed and its consequences are showed. Analogue computer simulation results on transient stability regions, in case that we take the switching times of excitation voltage and line constant as parameters, are described.</summary>

抄録: We adopt Williams &amp; Hazen Formula as mean velocity formula. Nowadays this is used most widely in the Public Water Supplies of the United States and Japan. We show for economical pipe diameter the numeral value that has been calculated by as new data as possible. The formula which Mr. Hikoichi Ogida has made is thought best as theoretical formula, we used it. 抄録: In order to study the electron optical properties of a point filament in the electron microscope gun, this experiment has been worked. Successive observations of the field emision patterns of a point filament were made by variation of the bias voltage. As a result it was found that the brightness and size of the pattern depended on the bias voltage, and the field emission pattern and the thermoionic pattern were superposed in the case of using the filament at higher temperature. It may be said that the pre-treatment of the filament has an effect on the field emission pattern at lower temperature.</summary>
